...that while the initial sentence might well have been a justifiable penalty for revealing legitimate state secrets, these subsequent restrictions and punishments are motivated by a desire to minimize the propaganda damage Vanunu can cause if he is allowed to exercise his right of free speech. After all, who can seriously believe that he has anything of genuine value left to reveal? It looks like an attempt to muzzle a dangerous critic. The sort of thing free, democratic societies don`t do.
