| There were bound to be many issues the first season. And certainly attention to injuries and player well being should be a priority. But the IBL is a wonderful addition to the Israeli sports scene. It was like visiting a single A ball game and had a real family feel. There are many good high school and college coaches in the US without big names that probably could have done a better job managing and coaching. But I understood why they needed some recognizeable names the first year. Being a winning pitcher doesn`t necessarily make for being a good coach. Next year --get some folks who really know coaching so these players can improve! But the IBL is great fun. |
