1) What prevents Iran from kidnapping American citizens working in the embassy yet again and using them as hostages against a US attack?
2) The EU already offered Iran cheap fuel in exchange for it given up its nuclear ambitions, Iran declined in a very rude way.
3) Iranians will have just as much positive information about the US available to them with a US embassy open in Iran as it has now: none. Do you honestly think you can put an end to years of brainwashing and censoring with a diplomatic gesture? Most likely someone would take advantage of your ignorance to murder those people and the Iranian government would claim ignorance or better yet they`d blame "the Zionists" for doing it.
There is one solution to Iran: facing it without blinking and if they insist on continuing their attacks bombing the heck out of their government institutions. |
