| After the Shahs overthrow, tens of thousands of Iranian Jewish children escaped to the US and Israel. Our community (and many others) helped these kids with housing, edu., etc. I was a lawyer who helped them with immigration law issues. At the time a number of jewish men were tried and hung as "Spies" for the little satan and many lost their property. I guarantee you that no jew anywhere would move to Iran if given the choice (or any other arb muslim country) so put away your ignorance. As to the bnei menashe, G-d bless them and welcome. they are devoted and loving adoptees of judaism and loyal patriots of Israel. |
