| religious minorities,including jews who are actually given preferential treatment.The government makes contributions to their charitable organisations and the jews have their own synagogues and special kosher shops etc.The jews of iran are allowed to visit israel,where they also have relatives.Iranian jews have consistently rejected israel`s siren calls to come and settle in israel.They have long standing connections with Iran and prefer to stay there.That would not be the case if they were executed in Iran for practising their religion! |
