| Well, well, well, our mayor, yes he is also mayor of Karkur which is the twin town to Pardes Hana. This is but another mud-stirring story, where the mud may exist but the story does not. We the good folks of this town are totally unaware of our mayors angst! As for converting these Bnei Menashe Indians, great. I have a number of friends that hail from India and came to Israel a generation ago. Fine people, my drummer in my band is one of them. Once again Haaretz is looking for a dirty little story to heat of resentment. But this story has no legs, and I can assure you has not cuased a fuss in these here parts. Maybe just once, Bradley and the crew, on a slow news day, could just once come up with a happy topic, like the lowering of unemployment from 10% to 7% in just two years! But that is obviously not their raison d`tre. As for the reporting, please do your job, research Fadi, research. When writing an article is good to have something to write about. |
