| I became aware of the `genocide` in Armenia some 40 years back when I drove past what I learned was an Armenian church in Miami. The curious alphabet attracted the attention of someone who had pondered Hieroglyphics and cuneiform. To solve the mystery I enquired inside. Did Turkey intend to exterminate Armenians or simply get rid of them? Hard to tell. I guess they more wanted to be rid of them than exterminate them. Too many got away for it to be otherwise. Now, to Gaza. Do the Jews of Israel intend to exterminate the Arabs of Palestine or simply get rid of them? I don`t know. I hope neither. |
