| Yuli Tamir should spend more time worrying about why national Bagrut exam averages keep dropping, than about who performs national service. Her ministry should develop a strategy for integrating the Ethiopian-Israeli students, a strategy which it - scandalously - does not currently have. Instead of teaching Israeli students about the Naqba, she should make sure they know about Trumpeldor and the Ramban. Whatever the failures of the Haredim, at least they have SOME purpose. The Hilonim are just lost in a haze of inarticulable socialist cultural-relativism. And the enemies know it...and are using it against Israel to their great benefit. The Israeli govt. better get its head out of its a** real soon. |
