All, The most important issue is who gets what religiously. Israelis are asked to give up access to the Tomb of the Patriarchs, Josephs Tomb, Nabi Shmuel, and other Holy Sites. The moderate Pro-Pals contend that this is nothing - that the Pals will allow visitation, etc. However, most Jews just don`t believe it. The Pals made a big mistake when they destroyed Joseph`s Tomb at the beginning of the Intifada. To the Pro-Pals this was a big so what. To the Jews, it is clear that there will be no Jews in Palestine and no Judaism either. Even Christians are almost driven out of Gaza and some posters here don`t think that Christianity will be welcome in a Pal state, either. Again, the takeover of the Church of the Nativity by Pal fighters was an indicator of the respect Palestine will show Non-Muslims. Will the Israeli people be willing to make sacrifices - I don`t know. However, it may be a moot point - since the Anti-Zionists will trash this proposal as land theft, etc.
