It is not an exchange if sovereignty is not handed over, so Israel should not have sovereignty over the lands traded either to be fair and just. The idea that a strip of asphalt that is not under their sovereignty is more valuable than land stolen by Israeli settlements is absurd. Any swap must be on a 1 to 1 ratio for any settlements that the Palestinians are willing to allow to remain on their lands in exchange for similar lands in other equally valuable and productive areas of Israel proper. The wall must also not be allowed to dictate final borders as it can be torn down just as easily as it was put up and is already deemed illegal by the international courts, so that battle Israel has already lost.

The bottom line is that anything short of an equal trade must be rejected outright as it is merely another attempt by the belligerent occupiers to get something for nothing at the Palestinian`s expense.
