Since 1994, the Israeli government has consistently cut defense budgets. The politicians continue to politicize instead of making good security measures to protect its citizens. Olmert doesn`t worry that the war against Hizbolla was a dismal failure since he can politicize that it was a success. He`s imitating GWB in Iraq who politicizes that things are improving - but they aren`t. The threat to Israel is greater than the U.S. therefore Israel will surely pay the most for this dreadful mistake.
A divided Israel, that is also unprotected, will surely be the death of us all.
I truly wonder whether Israel will still be on the map in a few years from now? |
