As someone who has lived as a Jew in Prague for many years, I would like to point out that the actions of the soccer hooligans is in no way reflective of the dominant culture among Czechs. Soccer fans around the world are known for their senseless, riotous racism. This should not come as a shock to anyone.

The Jews in Prague live comfortable lives and are well accepted into Czech society as equals and Czechs. You can wear a Kippah on the street, Jewish music is heard in clubs and the Museum is one of the country`s greatest attractions.

Personally, I don`t feel that ghettoizing ourselves in Israel will solve the problem of antisemitism. Anyway, all of you calling for aliya to avoid antisemitism seem to be forgetting about the huge population of Arab (and Russian) antisemites (clearly not all of them) living in Israel.

Why not thing of a more nuanced answer to this very real problem.
