| There is nothing in any "Geneva Convention" that requires Israel to transport PA victims of PA auto accidents into Israel for free treatment in Israeli hospitals. "Mordechai`s" incorrect reference is only to maintaining health services WITHIN the land in question. PA has the Red Crescent and their own hospitals, and have no entitlement to what they didn`t have before this so-called "occupation" began (would Jordan`s occupation have flown him to Amman?). What they receive from the MDA are acts of CHARITY, not legal obligations, and certainly no moral obligations are due while Cpl. Shalit has received no medical attention for 14 months since being seized in a cross border raid. The guy had a "security" risk background, so no entry into Israel for him -- Israel is a sovereign country. Amusing that Arabs want the Green Line to be a border in the matter of Israeli settlement, but not when it comes to receiving free medical attention, jobs, other benefits in Israel. CAN`T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS! |
