This is a sad result of a tough situation. I liked the post blaming Arafat. I think it is appropriate for Israeli`s to be very cautious of any Palestinian entering Israel for any reason.
Like it or not Palestinians, your willingness to explode yourselves has recourse beyond the actual act and immeadiate retailiation.
With that being said, and if I understood the article correctly, it seems to me that if the boy was in a MDA ambulance then he probably should have been able to get into Israel quicker.
But, as I always like to point out, I sit in Chicago comfortably and really have no right to judge or pontificate to Israeli`s about their day to day lives. To Arab`s either.
I hope that (as mentioned on an other post) commerce and other types of cooperation can bring about a peaceful and productive co-existence between both. Truth be told, it is in the Arab best interest for that to happen. Israel will be fine, forever. Palestinians, well, just look at Gaza. |
