Whilst there is a reliance of Arab Oil in the west I agree with your assessment. And obviously if you sell arms to both sides it is the perfect business arrangement as you will agree.
At the moment most arms sales to the Arab States are to try to keep Iran in it`s current bubble.
My assessment is that Israel has a longterm future, whether it can continue to exist in it`s current form, and whether this arms deal is part of a more far reaching arrangement, Olmert has reached with the United States of America. |
