Half the Palestinian economy is agriculture, and Israel controls all the water. The remainder is mainly oriented around East Jerusalem, to which Israel denies entry. You can`t even get a Ramallah newspaper stocked in a coffee house in the Old city. As for the Jordan valley - farmers there are under constant from settler harrassment and most Palestinians are denied entry. And Peres is still waffling on about economic horizons.
