| Jews and Israelis should take great pride and comfort in the fact that schooling will be available for these refugee children. However, it behooves us not to be smug and compare our attitude with that of our neighbors who have done little or nothing for these unfortunate people. We still have some glaring human rights issues to deal with in our relationship with the Palestinians. However, it is inspiring to see us doing the right and generous thing for strangers who are lost. |
