That is sheer nonsense!!!
Even through my 19 year old son was born in Israel and has travelled back and forth to his father for over 16 years from Denmark, he was accepted to the program this summer.
Instead of sitting like a bump on a log in his father?s kibbutz- he was able to experience his own birth country first hand with other youth. He saw more of Israel in these short 8 or 10 days than he has in the past 16 years!!!
Neither I nor his father could have given him this chance to come to know diverse Israelis and the wonderful country he originally comes from. No amount of mummy?s and daddy?s cash can buy that! |
