| In the final analysis, the only point of the tours is to get a quick taste of Israel. The trips give participants a fair look at the "good life" we have in Israel. Nobody is under any illusions that any large number of these tourists will make plans in the short-term for Aliyah. All we want is for the young adults to recognize that Israel is a modern multi-cultural environment, and we don`t pull the wool over their eyes ---- they return to the USA with a sense that they somehow are now a part of our lives. That is important. |
