Let us see, ethnically both Kurds and Persians among others are from Iranian stock, linguistically they both speak variation of Iranian language, culturally they both share many events one being Iranian new year celebration each year, historically they are known as Medes and Cyrus the great mother was Kurd, since 2500 years ago when they join Partians, Persians and others, they have been on side of Iranian conflicts ever since without exception and their last overt war was beside Iranians against Saddam of Iraq.
