Historically, when Christians called from the pulpit for the conversion of Jews, this often preceded their EXPULSION and MURDER.
Knowing this, are you still `insulted` that certain Jewish groups are sensitive to a reinstitution of the Roman Catholic mass in its old format, which would sanction such a call for conversion?
I have heard Christians refer to Jesus as `the Prince of Peace`. Let me tell you that the Church, as a matter of policy, has never brought much `peace` towards the Jews. This must finally change.
The Jews are still waiting for Rome to embrace the idea that Jesus himself had solid Jewish roots - and, as a consequence, would have never wished ANY harm done to his own People. Until that moment arrives, the Jews will naturally suspect the Christian teachings. |
