Perhaps Muslims are `stupid and ignorant`, as you say, but I think the situation is even worse: it appears as if Muslims have no ambition to do anything about it.
Your accusation, that `colonialism` is the cause of Muslim backwardness is false. Nobody ever prevented Muslims from developing a philosophy of equality among themselves and tolerance towards others. In the period of the last 3 centuries which you mentioned, the French revolution brought freedom, self-rule and the abolishment of slavery to much of Western world. Why didn`t the Muslims adopt the ideas of the French revolution?
