Uff...one can argue about the last 2-3 centuries but for god`s sake - Poland was the country who accepted Jews when Western countries were throwing them out. And Jews were given many rights and lived quite well relative to Jews in other countries at least until the Chmielnicki (who was a Cossack) revolt. That`s why Poland ended up having the biggest Jewish population in the world. When you talk about history in general, you can`t forget about those positive aspects. |
