Expropriating themes from Jewish history, comparing Israel to the Nazis in a nasty, tactless fashion. Calling the Palestinians "the Jews of the Arab world". This has all contributed to the moral bankrupcy of the Palestinian cause.
But we cannot blame the Arabs alone, who were not traditionally accustomed to subdividing themselves into nationalities. Key among the creators of the Palestinian cause were a small group of Trotskyite Left-wing anti-Zionist Jews who could not accept a Zionist victory over Bolshevism in the struggle for the soul of the Jewish people, and therefore decided to declare total war on Zionism, even if it meant collaborating with the worst enemies of the Jewish people. |
