| Almost all newspapers and journalist practice "due diligence", which according to their own ethics rules require them to divulge if they are in some way personally involved in the story they are covering. Per other journalist reports, Hass used to live in Gaza and moved to Ramallah when the PA was established. Is this not "due diligence" that Haaretz is obliged to divulge by the ethics rules it is supposed to follow? |
