Apartied is a government sponsored system of dividing people by race. Calling this problem by that name is true injustice. Each of these immigrants were brought here by government expense specifically to BECOME CITIZENS.
The base of our problem is a bunch of antisocial, uptight, dictatorial, power-hungry rabbis who refuse to recognize ANYONE`S Jewishness outside of their own confined and restricted view points. So the immigrants convert.
Then these same rabbis make impossible demands on these people - dictating that their children cannot attend regular schools - only religious schools.
But private religious schools refuse to take the children because their conversion is incomplete and that might make someone else`s rabbi uptight.
The only REAL solution to the problem is to remove the conversion monopoly, open it to registered rabbis everywhere. This would allow people to convert to Judaism in a normal, healthy way - instead of forcing them into a dictatorial cult. |
