Respectfully, you are incorrect, as others here have pointed out. The countries of Scandinavia feature crosses on their flags which represent their state Christianity. The United Kingdom`s Union Jack flag combines England`s St. George`s Cross with the Cross of Scotland. The British Queen is not only the ceremonial head of state, but is also the head of the Church of England, which is the UK`s official religion. Indeed, the side of the one pound coin bears an inscription about her status as protector of the faith. In the Islamic world, religious symbols are commonplace on flags. Even the Irish tricolour flag represents the trinity, a central religious concept.
