To Dan Ben David: Please stop making utterly wrong comparisons between the place of the Jewisn religion in Israel and that of the Christian religion in Western countries. In the latter there is a strict separation between religion and state (e.g. conc. marriage), religious celebrations have mostly become folklore, as religion itself has become a purely private matter of the individual.
By the way, aren`t you aware of how another utopian dream similar to Zionism, also used as the basis of a social experiment, ended in shambles after having played havoc with entire populations? You guessed yourself that I refer to communism. |
