Do you mean that the country with the Church of England and not one, but three crosses on its flag, whose official head - of state and of the church ? is the same queen, is neither western, or is it not democratic, or is it not a country? Unless churches have now become non-religious gatherings spots and crosses are non-religious historical relics (of say, boisterous crusader pasts), then which part of the combination "western", "democratic", "cross" and "religion" in almost half of the European Union countries do not go together? |
