| On this topic we will see two camps. One will say this is outragrous but the soldiers position should be understood because the are under tremendous pressure, in confronting terror from the Arabs and in defending the rights and security of the colonists who they are defending. The other camp will point out how typical this case is and happens frequently throughout the occupied territories, as documented by any number of human rights organisations. They will point out that most cases are not invesitgated or reported and those that are are met with exoneration or minor sentences. Further, you will see many on this site, from the first group, attacking those of the second as "Israel/Jew bashers" (the terms vary)anti-semites, self haters, with a sprinkling of more vulgar terms. They will go further and accuse the second group of wishing the destruction of Israel and of Jews in general. Thats how deranged their arguments have advanced. |
