Is that really anti-semitic? I mean Kolarevic might be a raving fascist for all I know, but I can`t see that that comment proves it. Of course, the Weisenthal Centre isn`t responsible for IDF incursions and targetted killings and I would guess Kolarevic knows that. But there is a potential link between Jewish overseas organisations and Israeli government policy. It`s like every time I see the Jewish Chronicle headlines, there`s some comment from the British Board of Deputies about the need to increase support for Israel and its government. Kolarevic shouldn`t have said what he said, but it`s no worse than the people on this site who shout at me that I shouldn`t criticise the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, because of the British occupation of Basra. It doesn`t make them racist and this doesn;t make Kolarevic anti-semitic. This looks like yet another case of cheapening the phrase anti-semite |
