She is a breath of fresh air in the stale education ministry. You cannot hide forever that the creation of the State of Israel went at the expense of the native Palestinian popultation. If Israeli Jews and Palestinian Arabs are to reconcile it is imperative to be honest about the history of 1948 and make room for the Palestinian narrative.
Yuli Tamir is a wise minister. Well done. |
