| The Naqba has been something that has been extremely difficult for Israelis to face. This is a first and significant step in helping to introduce the truth about what occurred in 1948. It is a courageous step that has taken us a long time to reach, but it is an essential one in breaking down the walls that exist between the two people. When Palestinian children are also taught not to hate and receive an equally truthful narrative or our past in the region, there will be a chance for tne next generation to succeed at what we have not yet done - recognizing the narrative of the other side as well as our own. |
