Paul called on folks to take the Gospel to the Jews first. But then again, I don`t think the Catholic Church is accepting any other Christians officially unless they belong too.
I certainly don`t believe that Jews (WE) should be in the category of idolators. The Ten Commandments are only in one book. The last 2000 years haven`t been great alternatively. In the beginning, it sucked for Christians, and then it sucked for Jews. I don`t know why Jews care so much about this. Jews could also make a prayer for the conversion of Catholics and other denominations also, but what the heck for? Personally, I think we are entering a new age. I don`t have a problem with Jesus being the Messiah. I don`t like being hit over the head with it by Anti-Semites like Mel Gibson. But Jesus fits the description very well. And look at the Jewish kid. He really did become a Superstar! |
