| I am one of this year`s draft dodgers. I am 18, an Israeli citizen, and have lived all my life abroad. I went to Israel on vacation once and speak no Hebrew, I have no home there. I like the idea of civic duty but frankly I don`t want to fold blankets or stand at a post, not that I know what it entails anyway. Maybe if my parents didn`t have to leave to find work, I would now be in combat training. I don`t see myself or those like me as draft dodgers |
