Hamas is doomed and there is no chance it will survive in the long run, because:
1. Haas want to impose an islamist regime whereas the majority of palestinians oppose this and want to stay secular. The majority of the Palestinians are modern minded people and will never accept a sharia based government.
2. Hamas is becoming more and more authoritarian, something the majority of Palestinians don`t like as they want to have democracy. This is causing more and more Palestinians to sway towards supporting Abbas and the West Bank based PA.
3. The economic, political and geographic isolation of Gaza will sooner or later turn the strip into an unlivible place while the West Bank flourishes thanks to with world support and new accords with Israel.
