"So... what is your opinion on `honour killings`"

"honour killings" was/is a human phenomena that can be found in all societies - including Western ones where the person committing the crime is full-blooded westerner. Examples?

(1) White men hanging black men in the American South simply because the black man dared to look at a white woman.

(2) So called "crime of passion" where a white man walks into his bedroom and finds his wife with her lover. Do you know how many white men got away with such crimes?

(3) Killing of a girl-friend on the basis of jelousy or because she wants out of a relationship.

You know these things happen in Western countries all the time. Is every westerner involved? Of course not! Is "honour killing" limited to Muslim societies? Don`t be rediculous!
