Title:21 CHGODMK, simple thinking & "Thinking harder, if possible."
Name:curious
City: State:
"...simplistic thought system of moral absolutism that cannot look at individual instances and see the difference..."
Question: Do you mean like the simple thinking becoming more prevalent in "progressive" and statistically arguable more "morally bankrupt and decaying societies" where "anything goes?" Or do you mean like the regressive countries whose "individuals? define anything moral that supports that corrupt system (e.g. state sponsored violation of human rights by Communist Chinese, murder in Islamic societies, etc.)? Yes, I see the difference. Legalizing immorality is every bit as bad as legalizing morality? But, does "anything goes" that does not hurt another lead to many murkier questions? Will you define what hurts someone else or all of us as a society? How about the next guy? Yes, thinking harder, if possible would be good - for all. Yes? No?
