The premise of your article is totally miguided. Prostitution will never be stopped, not by the law, not by creating an intolerant society, not by anything you can possibly dream up. As long as there is the desire for a sexual encounter there will be someone willing to take money to provide the illusion of it.
What should be punished, and I believe by a mandatory death penalty, is slavery. Anyone who takes it upon themselves to enslave another, might as well be a rapist (and many of them are) or a murder (and of this there are many rumours as well), but this is far worse, this is making their victims live the hell, hour after hour, day after day, until ...
I don`t seek the death penalty as a deterent as data from the US states which have it, shows that it is no deterrent, rather it would rid this overcrowded world of some serious low lifes that we`d all be better off without. |
