For lo! these many years, it has been said that everything happening to the Palestinians has been because Israel has been pulling all the strings - with US Complicity, of course. If the Palestinians should at last be able to pull things together, would any credit go to those string-puller? Nah! Guess not!
Incidentally, for those of you proposing the "logical" solution of giving the West Bank to Jordan and Gaza to Egypt? Why do you think things have been the way they are for the last forty years? Could it be because Jordan and Egypt didn`t want those properties back then - and the problems that went with them - and they still don`t! |
