York Times and International Herald Tribune, these days there are some key people among the Palestinian Arabs who realize that a Jordanian solution may be the most realistic one. The alternative in the opinion of these Palestinian Arabs is the collapse of the West Bank and its take-over by Hamas/Islamic Jihad/Iran/Hizballah and few palestinian Arabs in the West Bank wish to live under such regime, which Israel will not tolera, hence an on-going war. Also, the Arab countries know that Israel is not the cause of unrest in the region, and finally realize that it is in their collective interest to avoid Iran from entering the Arab East (mashraq), which can possibly be avoided if Egypt takes over the Gaza Strip and Jordan the West Bank.
