You must have missed the sentence which read "Later he had to pay like the others to see Frieda, a privilege allowed him as he was imprisoned neither on racial nor political grounds." This article has nothing to do with the Holocaust; it is about the Nazi treatment of foreign (gentile) slave laborers. |
