| Les, I understand what you mean, but I also know lots of Muslims who aren`t in the least anti-Israeli. The voice of the moderates, sadly, has been intimidated and forced into hiding thanks to the a very violent and significant minority. Islam is a collection of religions. Some forms are more liberal than others by nature. Wahhabi-style "Sunnism" and militant Shiism are what is threatening the enlightened world today. Don`t forget, plenty of Muslims protected us during the Holocaust. Yes, there is also the opposite viz. the Mufti and the Bosnian Muslim SS division. Only goes to show, Islam is not monolithic. |
