| While I find it deplorable that such excavation is taking place in such an historic area I`ll just say a couple of things. A lot of Israelis here are talking about `exerting our sovereignty` and `Christina and Jewish vigilantes`: 1. No-one in the entire world other than the government of Israel itself recognises Israel`s illegal annexation of East Jerusalem. 2. The Temple Mount is only regarded as particularly important by whack-job evangelical Christians. 3. The Temple Mount is one of the most important holy sites of Islam too. 4. What about that walkway Israel was building regardless of who approved or disapproved? OK? |
