Reading this very good article, I thought of the first days of talkbacks, where discussion was a bit more constructive than systematic "gut reactions" that followed..
Caps written titles, such as Paul`s first reaction are exactely the type of low, poor reasoning but shouting out loud to be heard. I frankly thought talkbacks were an extraordinary way to democratic and opposed views to confront eachother, but reading messages like Paul`s and others, one can only conclude that talkbacks became like a speaking corner in a drunk men`s bar.. Wonder what`s Haaretz policy on talkbacks. |
