Why are 50,000 Palestinians trapped between the Wall / Fence and the Green Line if this thing is about security? These people can just walk straight to Tel Aviv.
Give me a break. This Wall is about grabbing land, not keeping out suicide bombers. Illegal workers get through the Wall every single day. If suicide bombers wanted to, they could as well. Stopping the suicide bombings was a strategic choice by Palestinians, not a result of this stupid Wall. It only messes with farmers and pregnant women and kids trying to get to school -- not with criminals, who will always find a way. Plus, even if the Wall did work on suicide bombings, if the Palestinians wanted to do violence to Israel, they`d get rockets like everyone else.
Stop grabbing their land and imprisoning them collectively if you want peace and security. An angry, impoverished, imprisoned, browbeaten population is not the kind of neighbor I`d want. Grow up. Look in the mirror. You`ve become just what you hate. |
