The first part chock full of platitudes is beneath my analysis so let`s move on to Luttwak. It bears noticing that the problems that arise from both the `hardline` and `softline` approaches, stem exclusively from the Arab side of issue. He does, of course, fail to mention that in the past a combination of the two -a mixture of nasty and nice- has had the Arabs eating from our palms in the past. Finally, as usual in good Kumbaya style, Bradley dissolves into a wan and overdone comparison between Arabs and Israelis trying to convince us that "we ain`t all that different after all". -"They ... usurpers." Preposterous! We have our fair share of critics in Israel for Israeli actions creating an effective counterculture. The Arabs present a united front that denies doubt and serious consideration of the conflict. -"Convinced...solution." The difference being that we already offered land for peace 3 times! We won`t destroy our country just so they can have theirs. Peace Through Victory |
