| Israel has a moral responsibility to absorb all Jewish refugees, regardless of national origin. Israel has done that. Israel cannot afford to open up its doors to all refugees worldwide. The refugees from Darfur is an African problem and should be solved there. If Israel agrees to absorb these poor souls, you can be sure Israel would be deluged with millions more demanding refugee status and expecting Israel to support them. Israel is a tiny country with limited resources under daily attack from its terrorist neighbors. Those who criticize Israel should wonder why EU, who are not under constant existential threats, are not admitting these refugees. |
