| True #1,if people really want to move here why pay them to do so? A little friendly warning to my fellow Americans moving here, be prepared for a complete culture shock, things here are nothing like in the USA,we have alot of strikes by government workers all the time especially when school starts almost every year there is a teacher`s strike! The banks here will cheat you ,they charge for every little thing they do for you, classrooms are over crowded even at the elementary school level, there are many teachers who don`t know the material they were hired to teach,native English speaking kids are kept in classes with non speaker for english and the teachers of that subject are usually not native speakers,so your kids will be correcting them alot, there is bullying,hitting in schools,no cafterias in schools kids eat in the classrooms with their classmate. Expect long lines at the Kupat Holims(medical clinics) you almost never get in at your appointment time, So Good Luck you`ll need it. |
