I do not have a problem with a little American culture seeping in Israeli culture. America itself is richer from having other cultures weaved into its all. One of my concerns is that the foreign culture does not DOMINATE Israeli culture.
I like to add to the debate to all Americans living in Eretz Yisrael. That is if you love Israel(and I do not doubt it) why do you(if you do) still retain dual CITZENSHIP. Why not be like the pioneers who built Pre-Israel Palestine and forgo your American citizenship. I think that will show you are TRUE ISRAELIS! |
